CEO and Founder
Dr. Poorva Dharkar is a seasoned leader in life sciences and health tech with over 15 years of experience. She founded Ziva Consulting to accelerate therapeutic advancements, promote health equity, and bring innovation to healthcare. With a decade-long career in Pharma/Biotech, she's driven drug development, clinical trials, and portfolio management across Neuroscience, Oncology, and Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Dharkar's leadership extends to both the public and private sectors. She has led diverse teams on impactful projects, including the COVID-19 Open Data Portal, used by over 2,000 global researchers.
Her contributions were recognized with the NIH Director's Award. Additionally, she has led nonprofit initiatives, achieving strategic goals, increasing membership, and fostering industry partnerships.​
As the founder of Ziva Consulting, she leverages her expertise to help startups succeed, enhancing their brand visibility and driving meaningful audience engagement through tailored strategies.
